Regarding the newsreport
Modern civilization is new to nature and hence suicidal(1).
When I was serving some 5 decades ago I was as grave as
the PM in pushing through hydros. Then after I became involved with projects I
was told convincingly by a very senior colleague of mine that in an
international conference on hydros, how people concerned with our well being
held sway and the day belonged to them and that even hardline engineers were convinced that hydros were devastating and totally
destructive of nature. The natural
balance will be totally destroyed when we divide the river in the natural basin
by a dam into something new to nature- dead waters behind the dam- upstream and a
bizzare region downwards called the area where riparian rights will have to be
fought over – for sufficient water to survive- a dead ecologically and evolutionarily
dead area. This my senior colleague said dramatically- the death of ecology and
a complete geomorphology of unknowable consequences. It is not just the
catastrophic transformation of the 276 MW of dams that is the contribution that
is the worry, but the entire World Dam Dynamics suddenly being applied at a
location of its choice- a dynamics that applies the entire weight of the world
dam contents suddenly at the location, not only this but something much much
more which is at the heart of climate change in the dam era—the leverage on the
choice location exerted by the entire
world dam contents acting through their centre of gravity( latitude 26,
longitude 96) resulting in millions of
degrees centigrade direct heating up of the earth and a mass movement of
something like that created by at least 1000 one megaton hydrogen bombs

Note that the consequences are not only regional as in
the case described above but also worldwide in the form of epidemics like the
American Flu Pandemic of 1918 and the presently ongoing COVID 19 pandemic- all
entirely new to nature brought about by stopping natural evolution in its
tracks or snapping of ecological bonds in river ecology of a basin or basins.

China is an example of modern civilization which is always new to nature and a society of specialists in action. Instead of helping to assuage matters so that survival becomes tractable, China along with others are taking the terribly destructive route and not cooperative sensitive way. Look at the way they committed genocide in Tibet and shamelessly stealing away our natural wealth by hook or crook. The best way is to be good in thought, word and deed. But see the way they are all proceeding. They are on the path of relegating human to fossil records:

The solution: Live in small self sufficient communities. Protect nature. Reforest analogously. Nature is nudging this through signals of catastrophes like Fukushima, COVID 19, omicron, other incurables. We are still arrogant and prefer new to nature vaccines to the homeopathic route which is nature cure and prevention.

You are not divinely perfect automata when you gave dams the green signal to stabilize the grid. You obviously missed the thermonuclear explosion effects of World dam dynamics. Despecialise and shut down modern civilization in favour of the normal which aims to make the dams dysfunctional by protecting existing forests and enjoying human living energy use through the sun situated safely 150 million kilometers from the earth. HPO is obsolete in front of the extinction risk posed by world dam dynamics, 'wdd' which is converting planet earth into a dust bowl as far as its land use goes.

This type of mindset requires change by relevant education. The dams of the world are causing geomorphological changes equivalent to that caused by 1000 one megaton hydrogen bombs or even more. Thus it is a positive feedback phenomenon,leading swiftly to overtopping of the dams in such a small time that no mitigation is possible! If you increase the height of dams it is intensifying the positive feedback coefficient to which the consequences are major and great earthquakes, demolition of modern civilization abruptly. See how the Himalayas are being powdered with shocks of sudden moving of the earth equivalent to more than 1000 one megaton hydrogen bomb explosions- some 10 trillion tons of earth melted- a geomorphological change of full extinction proportions.
You are causing pralaya. Demolish the dams maintaining normal life. Reforest Mother Earth to Live. To quote Wendell Berry said in his best seller The Unsettling of America: Culture and Agriculture: " In living in this world by his own will and skill, the stupidest peasant or tribesman is more competent than the most intelligent worker or technician or intellectual in a society of specialists."

The advice is not the truth. 92 % of climate change is caused by the world's dams and only 8% by emissions. Israel is a terrorist nation like Hamas. Both must immediately reconcile and a happy democratic Israel must replace the present Apartheid practicing nation and a Palestine with reparations from Israel must be rebuilt from ruin. Palestine and Israel must thereafter live in willing peace nurturing one another and the Israeli settlers must return to resettle in Israel. Both must appreciate that all the nations are being attacked by all the world’s dams to result in dust bowls and extinction. Their top job must be to remove the world's dams and allow forest regeneration with people's cooperatives, recognizing that forests are infinitely superior to dams in meeting world's needs in a normal civilization.
